Colonial Occuptions

I am a Potter

I make pots, bowls, cups, and plats. All of  this stuff is made out of clay, and after it is formed into a utensil it has to dry. After it has been dried it is ready to be painted and put on a shelf .We also use molds to make buttons and pipes.Often I use the same clay as a brick maker. Were not the only ones who make pottery ,farmers also do pottery in there spare time and sell it to their neighbors.Men who do pottery use their strong hands and not a wheel.

Who is Opechancanough

Sahem and war leader of Powhatan forces.

Known for his leadership and military prowess.

He was a war-chief of Tsenacommacah.

This appointment made him the military prowess.

At some point before the arrival of the english, powhatan likely designed opechancanough  as a werowance  or chief  of the youghtanund indians  and later the head of the adjacent pamunkey Tribe.

The once formidable war-chief was captured by forces under virginia governor sir William.

On April 18,1646 the anging opechancanough launched the second of his great assaults against  the english with little success.

In october 1642 a peace agreement was signed by opechancanough predecess.

He was a tribal chief  within powhatan confederacy of what is now virginia united states.

The captured indian was initially taken to mexico .where he was baptized and educated  by the dominicans.

September 19, 2018 by aspakes

The family in the big red old house picked a big juicy pumpkin with a nice brown stem in the fall. When it was halloween they took a big sharp knife and cut the big orange pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern.On halloween their little children went trick or treating it was cold.1 year later again the nice family went back to the pumpkin patch and picked a small birty pumpkin with a short stem.
